Tag the transcript ​

Tagging reads your transcript and records what each word is and where it comes from. It needs one thing from you: the language the video is in.

The tag status chip at the top of the transcript panel, open. It reads Tagged and the language code. Its menu lists Re-tag transcript and the languages.

Do it: Declare a language to start tagging

When you're done you'll have: a transcript whose chip reads Tagged · en (or your language).
