Video
A video is a media file you upload to GRAPE MARS. You code it, you transcribe it, and you watch it while you work. A video can belong to more than one project. If you remove it from a project, the file stays in GRAPE MARS. If you delete the video itself, GRAPE MARS also deletes its annotations and its transcript.
Example: One 40 minute lesson sits in a project about teacher talk and in a second project about gesture. Each team codes the same file for its own question.
Why it matters in GRAPE MARS
Open a project and click Upload Video to add a recording. The file then belongs to a project, and you can add it to a second one without uploading it again. Delete video is the only button that also removes the annotations and the transcript, in every project at once.
