Library
A library is the set of annotation types that a project uses. Each project has one library. You can save a library and then use it again in another project. GRAPE MARS also gives you a built-in library called GRAPE Default. It holds 3 categories and 18 types, so you can start work at once.
Example: A team studies teacher talk in 12 lessons. They build one library with the types they agreed on and save it. Next year they load the same library into a new project, so they can compare the 2 years.
Why it matters in GRAPE MARS
The library decides what you can annotate. Each track in the project takes its type from the library, and nothing else can appear on it. A shared library is also what keeps 2 coders working in the same way.
