Annotator toolbar

What this screen is for: the dark strip under the video, which holds the tools you reach most often.

1. Zoom: Zoom out, a slider, Zoom in, and the level as a number. The range is 0.5x to 10x.
2. Undo: takes back your last change to an annotation. Grey when there is nothing to take back.
3. Transcribe: makes a transcript with AI. It is hidden once the video has one.
4. Live: a coloured dot and a word for the link to the people you work with. It is hidden when you work alone.
5. Collaborator avatars: a small coloured circle for each other person in this video now, up to 2, then a +N circle for the rest. Invite takes their place when nobody else is here.
6. Keyboard shortcuts: a question-mark icon button. Its tooltip reads Keyboard shortcuts. Click it to open the list of shortcuts. The ? key does the same.
7. Clock: an amber icon that appears only when GRAPE MARS kept a session on your computer. It offers Restore session and Discard.
8. Import: a menu with Library JSON, Annotation JSON and ELAN (.eaf).
9. Export: a menu with GRAPE MARS JSON, ELAN (.eaf) and All Formats…. It is grey until the video has at least one bar.

The toolbar has no button for your library or your tracks. Use Manage Library, at the foot of the track panel.
