Scope
The scope is the set of data a workspace or a module looks at. It names the videos, the time range, the tracks, the coders and the speakers. The scope of the workspace applies to every module in it. A module can drop that and use a scope of its own.
Example: You want to look at one class only. You set the scope to 1 video, 1 coder and the teacher speaker. You add a fragment from 12:00 to 16:00. Every chart on the page now counts that slice alone.
Why it matters in GRAPE MARS
The scope tells you which annotations a chart counts. 2 charts with different scopes can show very different numbers from the same project. Check the scope before you read a chart, and again before you export it.
