Problems with the library
Every track is the same color
Most likely causes
- Color belongs to the annotation type, not the track. Fix: click Manage Library to open the Library Manager. Click a type and pick its color. Each type keeps its own color.
- You are looking at sub-type chips on short bars. Fix: zoom the timeline in. The chips appear on the bars. A short bar leaves no room for a chip.
- A preset gave every type one color. Fix: change the colors you need, then save the library again.
I cannot delete a group or a track
Most likely causes
- The delete control stays hidden until you hover. Fix: move the mouse over the row in the Library Manager. A bin icon appears at the right of the row. Click it.
- You cannot reach the bin icon. Fix: right-click the row instead. A menu opens. Click Delete.
- You are a viewer on this project. Fix: ask the owner to make you an editor.
I can only build two levels
Most likely causes
- There are three levels, not more. Fix: a group holds tracks, and a track holds sub-types. Add a sub-type from the track row, not from the top of the panel. The sub-type appears under the track.
- You added a group where you wanted a track. Fix: use the add button on the group row. A new track appears inside the group.
The name boxes overlap and I cannot read them
Most likely causes
- The panel is narrow. Fix: make the browser window wider. The names fit on one line.
- The name is very long. Fix: use a shorter name. A long name moves onto a second line.
My library did not save
Most likely causes
- Your sign-in has expired. Fix: reload the page and sign in again. Then apply the library once more.
- You closed the panel without applying. Fix: click Apply Library before you close it. The tracks appear on the timeline.
- You are a viewer. Fix: ask the owner to make you an editor.
I applied a library but no tracks appeared
Most likely causes
- Every type is hidden. Fix: click the eye icons in the track panel. The tracks show again.
- The library has groups but no tracks. Fix: add at least one track inside a group, then apply again. The track appears on the timeline.
If the screen shows an error message, look it up in All error messages.
If it still does not work: contact support. Include the page address from the browser bar, the date and time, your browser and its version, the exact words on the screen, and what you clicked.
