Error messages I to L
Messages that start with the letters I to L. The full list is in All error messages.
Insufficient permissions
When you see it: when you change an item in a project you belong to.
What it means: you are a member of the project, but your role is viewer. A viewer can read, but not change.
What to do: ask your administrator to change your role on this project. The project owner cannot help here. The Add collaborator control always adds people as editors, so no screen in GRAPE MARS makes a viewer.
Not the same as: Access denied.
Invalid API key
When you see it: on the Settings page, in the AI Services tab, when you save a key.
What it means: GRAPE MARS tested the key, and the AI service refused it.
What to do: copy the key again from Mistral or Google. Check that you chose the right service.
Invalid credentials
When you see it: on the Sign in page.
What it means: the email is not known, or the password is wrong. The message is the same for both.
What to do: check the email for typing mistakes. Ask your administrator to reset your password if you forgot it.
Invalid file type. Only JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP are allowed.
When you see it: when you add a profile picture, or a picture to a test answer.
What it means: the file is not a picture that GRAPE MARS takes.
What to do: save the picture as JPG or PNG. Then add it again.
Also shown as: Invalid file type — use JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP.
Invalid library file
The whole message is Invalid library file: could not find annotationTypes array. Expected a GRAPE MARS library JSON file (libraries/*.json).
When you see it: in the GRAPE import window, after you choose a folder. It comes after the words Failed to parse library file "…":.
What it means: the file in the libraries folder is not a library file.
What to do: check that you chose the top folder. If it still fails, contact support and send the folder.
Invalid or expired token
When you see it: after GRAPE MARS has been open for a long time.
What it means: your session has ended. GRAPE MARS no longer knows who you are.
What to do: sign in again. Your saved work is not lost.
Also shown as: Invalid token, No token provided, Unauthorized.
Invalid project file
The whole message is Invalid project file: missing projectName field. Expected a GRAPE MARS project JSON file (data/*/project.json).
Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. The import window skips that one video and goes on with the rest. If every video fails, you see Found project.json files but none could be parsed successfully. instead.
What it means: one project.json file has no project name in it.
What to do: count the videos in the preview. Send the folder to support if one is missing.
Job not found
Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. No screen asks the server for the state of an AI run, so nothing reaches you.
What it means: the server lost track of that run.
What to do: start the AI run again.
Key storage temporarily unavailable
The whole message is Key storage temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
When you see it: on the Settings page, in the AI Services tab, when you save a key.
What it means: the safe store for keys is down. Your key was not saved.
What to do: wait a few minutes and save it again. Tell support if it fails twice.
Library not found
Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. The library you picked is not applied, and no message appears.
What it means: the library is gone, or your page is old.
What to do: reload the page. The list shows the libraries you still have.
Load a video before running AI analysis.
When you see it: in the annotator, when you click Run AI on a track.
What it means: no video file is open on the screen.
What to do: wait for the video to appear. Then click Run AI again.
Login failed
When you see it: on the Sign in page.
What it means: the server had a problem while it signed you in.
What to do: wait a moment and sign in again. Tell support if it fails twice.
Logout failed
When you see it: when you click Sign out.
What it means: the server could not close your session.
What to do: close the browser tab. Your session ends by itself after a while.
