Error messages T to V

Messages that start with the letters T, U or V. The full list is in All error messages.

Tagging is already running for this video

Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. The tag chip (the small label at the top of the transcript panel that reads Set language, Tagging… or Tagged · en) refreshes instead, and stays on Tagging….

What it means: a tagging run for this video is still going.

What to do: wait for the tag chip to finish. Then start again if you need to.

Test not found

Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. The page says Test not found or has no items. instead. If the same thing happens when you send your answers, the box says Failed to submit. Please try again.

What it means: the test is gone, or the link is wrong.

What to do: ask your administrator for a new link.

This doesn't look like a GRAPE MARS project folder

The whole message names what is missing, such as This doesn't look like a GRAPE MARS project folder. Expected to find a data/ folder with project.json files inside it.

When you see it: in the GRAPE import window, after you choose a folder.

What it means: the folder has no data folder with project.json files in it. A second wording says the library is missing as well.

What to do: choose the top folder of the export, not a folder inside it. If it still fails, contact support and send the folder.

This user is the project owner

When you see it: on the project page, when you add a person.

What it means: that person already owns the project.

What to do: nothing. The owner can already do everything.

When you see it: when you open or export a transcript.

What it means: this video has no transcript yet.

What to do: transcribe the video first. Or upload an SRT or TXT file.

Transcription failed

When you see it: in the transcript panel, during AI transcription.

What it means: the AI could not turn the sound into text.

What to do: check that the video has clear sound. Then try a shorter video.

Unsupported language

The whole message lists the codes, such as Unsupported language 'de' — supported: es, ca, en.

When you see it: on the admin Transcripts page, when an admin sets the spoken language of a video. The tag chip in the annotator offers only supported languages, so it never shows this text.

What it means: tagging does not work for that language yet.

What to do: choose Spanish, Catalan, or English. Ask support about new languages.

User is already a collaborator

When you see it: on the project page, when you add a person.

What it means: that person already works on this project.

What to do: nothing. Look for their name in the list.

User not found

When you see it: on the Settings page, or soon after you sign in.

What it means: the server could not find your account.

What to do: sign out and sign in again. Tell support if it fails twice.

Video already in project

When you see it: on the Videos page, when you add a video to a project.

What it means: that project already holds the video.

What to do: nothing. Open the project to see the video.

Video has no transcript to tag

Where it comes from: GRAPE MARS never shows this text. The tag chip refreshes instead, and stays as it was.

What it means: tagging reads a transcript, and this video has none.

What to do: transcribe the video first. Then start tagging.

Video name is required

When you see it: when you make a video record with no file.

What it means: the name box is empty.

What to do: type a name for the video. Then save.

Video not found

When you see it: when you open a video from a link or a bookmark.

What it means: the video is gone, or it is not shared with you.

What to do: go to the Videos page. Ask the project owner to share it with you.

Also shown as: Video not found or insufficient permissions.

Video not in project

When you see it: when you remove a video from a project.

What it means: the video is no longer in that project.

What to do: reload the page. The list shows what is left.
