Error messages F to G
Messages from Failed to submit to Google OAuth not configured. The earlier F messages are in Error messages E to F (first part). The full list is in All error messages.
Failed to submit
The whole message is Failed to submit. Please try again.
When you see it: on a test page, when you send your answers.
What it means: the server did not take your answers.
What to do: click Submit again. Your answers stay on the page.
Failed to update annotation
When you see it: when you save a change to a project, video, transcript, profile, or annotation.
Also for: an annotation type, a library, a workspace, or a speaker.
What it means: the server could not save the change.
What to do: make the change again. Contact support if it fails twice.

Failed to upload screenshot
When you see it: on a test page, when you add a picture to an answer.
What it means: the picture did not reach the server.
What to do: check that the file is under 5 MB. Then add it again.

Failed to upload video
When you see it: in the upload window, or when you add a picture to your profile.
What it means: the file did not reach the server.
What to do: check your network. Then upload the file again.
Also shown as: Failed to generate upload URL, Failed to upload profile image, Failed to upload thumbnail, Upload failed. Please try again., Failed. Please try again.
File too large. Maximum size is 2GB.
When you see it: in the upload window, when you choose a video.
What it means: the video is over the limit of 2 GB.
What to do: cut the video into parts. Or save it again at a lower quality.
File too large. Maximum size is 5MB.
When you see it: when you add a profile picture, or a picture to a test answer.
What it means: the picture is over the limit of 5 MB.
What to do: save the picture at a smaller size. Then add it again.
Also shown as: File too large — maximum 5MB.
Found project.json files but none could be parsed successfully.
When you see it: in the GRAPE import window, after you choose a folder.
What it means: GRAPE MARS found the project files but could not read them.
What to do: check that you chose the top folder. Send the folder to support if it still fails.
Gesture model not found
Where it comes from: the server sends these words when you run a gesture track in the annotator. The gesture reader passes on its own wording, so the box says AI analysis failed: and then a line about the model file.
What it means: the gesture model file is not on the server. The AI run stops.
What to do: choose a different model for the track. Tell support that the gesture model is missing.
Google OAuth failed. Please try again.
When you see it: after you come back from the Google sign-in page.
What it means: Google did not send a valid answer to GRAPE MARS.
What to do: click Sign in with Google again. Or sign in with your email and password.
Also shown as: Failed to sign in with Google. Please try again., Authentication failed. No token received.
Google OAuth not configured
When you see it: when you click Sign in with Google.
What it means: the Google sign-in setting is missing on the server.
What to do: sign in with your email and password. Tell support, because only they can fix this.
