Module: Mode Combinations

Add a chart that shows what the other tracks do while one chosen track is active.

Before you start

Steps

1. Click Add module. The drawer opens on the right.
2. Click + next to Mode Combinations. The module lands at the foot of the page.
3. Click the settings button in its title bar. A panel opens with the list Given mode.
4. Select the track you want to hold fixed. The bars redraw for that choice.

Check it worked

The card names your choice, such as 'Behaviour of other modes while "Gesture" is active (18.4% of the analysed span)'.

Each row is one other track. The bar shows the share of that track that falls inside the chosen track. The label reads like "46% (lift 2.50×)".

Read lift as "how much more than chance". Chance here is the share of the span the chosen track covers. A lift near 1 means the 2 tracks meet no more than luck would bring. A lift of 2 means they meet twice as often as that. A small mark on each bar shows the chance level.

If you pick nothing, GRAPE MARS holds the track with the most marks in scope.

The Excel sheet holds Type, Unit, Total, During given, % during, Expected %, and Lift.

If something goes wrong
