Run a test and read the results ​

Take a platform test yourself, then read every answer from the team in one place, by person or by item.

Before you start ​

  • Anyone with an account can take a test. A non-admin needs the direct link to the test, such as /test/1, sent by an admin.
  • Only a super-admin can read other people's answers.
  • Nobody sees anyone else's answers, whatever their role.

Take the test yourself ​

  1. Open the Admin area. The Project Status page opens.
  2. Click Tests in the bar on the left. The heading reads "Platform Tests".
  3. Click Start test on the open test. The checklist opens.
  4. Click one of Works, Partially, Broken or Don't understand on each item. GRAPE MARS saves each answer as you click.
  5. Click Submit all responses. A thank-you page appears.

Open the results ​

  1. Open the Admin area. The Project Status page opens.
  2. Click Tests in the bar on the left. The heading reads "Platform Tests".
  3. Click View results → on the test. The results page opens. The line under the title counts the items, the people who submitted, and the people still working.

Read by submission ​

The By submission tab lists 1 row per person: their name, whether they submitted, how far they got, and their tally. The tally reads pass, partial, fail and skip, in that order.

Click a row to open it. You then see every item, grouped by section, with that person's answer, their comment and any picture they attached. Click a picture to open it full size.

Read by item ​

The By item tab lists 1 row per item, with the number of each answer next to it. Click a row to read the comments people left on that item.

Start here when you want to know which item broke for most people.

Check it worked ​

The count of people who submitted matches the number of rows with a green Submitted badge.
