Manage AI models
See the AI models the site knows about, and switch each one on or off. You need the admin role.
Before you start
- You need the admin role. Every action on this page uses that one role.
- This list is not the list a researcher sees in the Library Manager. Those badges are fixed in the app.
- The switch here decides which models the AI suggestions feature offers. See AI features available today.
Steps
- Open the Admin area. The Project Status page opens.
- Click AI Models in the bar on the left. A table lists the models.
- Click the switch in the Enabled column. Green means on. Gray means off.
An empty table reads: "No AI models registered. Click "Add Model" to get started."
Read a row
Model, Provider, Input, Threshold, Suggestions, Accuracy, Enabled. The threshold is the confidence a run must reach before the model offers a suggestion. Accuracy is the share of suggestions that people accepted. It stays a dash until people review some.
Click a row to open the model. That page shows How it works, the Classification Prompt, an Accuracy Dashboard and a Run Log. Click the arrow at the top left to go back.
Add a model
- Click Add Model. The form Register New AI Model opens.
- Type a name. The Name box shows "Shot Type Classifier v1" as an example; your typing replaces it.
- Select a Provider. The choices are OpenAI, Cloudflare Workers AI, HuggingFace and Custom Endpoint.
- Type the Model Identifier the provider gave you. The value fills the box.
- Select an Input Type: Video Frame, Audio Segment, Full Video or Transcript. Your choice replaces the box's default.
- Type a short Description. The description shows under the model's name in the table.
- Drag the Confidence Threshold slider. It runs from 0.5 to 0.99.
- Click Save Model. The new row joins the table.
Delete a model
- Click the bin at the end of the row. A question asks you to confirm.
- Click OK. The row goes.
This removes the model and all of its suggestions.
Check it worked
