Change your password

Set a new password on your account. You need your current password to do it.

Before you start

• Know your current password. GRAPE MARS checks it before it changes anything.
• Forgot it? There is no reset button yet. Ask your administrator to set a new one for you.

Steps

1. Open Settings from the bar at the top of the page. The settings page opens.
2. Click Account in the list on the left. The Password card opens at the top.
3. Type your current password in Current Password. The box hides the letters. Click the eye icon to read them.
4. Type your new password in New Password. It needs 8 characters, one capital letter, one small letter, and one number.
5. Type the same new password in Confirm New Password. The 2 new passwords must match.
6. Click Change Password. A green line reads Password changed successfully.

(This is new in the next update. Until then the button does not save.)

A wrong current password gives a red line: Current password is incorrect. Nothing changes. Type it again.

Do you sign in with Google? Then the card reads Signed in with Google. Google holds your password, so change it on the Google security page. The link is in the card.

Check it worked

The 3 boxes go empty and a green line appears. Sign out, then sign in with the new password.
