What deleting a video removes ​

Learn what you lose when you delete a video, and what stays, before you press the button.

Before you start ​

Steps ​

  1. Open the list below. Read it to the end.
  2. Click the X only when you are sure. There is no way back.

GRAPE MARS removes all of this with the video:

  • the video file and its small picture;
  • every annotation on it, from every coder;
  • the transcript, with its lines and their times;
  • the word tags that tagging made;
  • every speaker you set up on it;
  • the link that put the video in each project.

These things stay:

  • the project itself, and its other videos;
  • the library of the project;
  • any saved library you built from it;
  • files you exported before, on your own computer.

Export your work first if you may need it later. A deleted video cannot come back, even for an admin.

Check it worked ​

The row is gone from the video list. The counts on the Overview card go down.
