Module: Category Breakdown

Add a chart with one bar for each category, showing its count and its share of all annotations.

Before you start

Steps

1. Click Add module. The drawer opens on the right.
2. Click + next to Category Breakdown. The module lands at the foot of the page.
3. Wait for the bars to draw. Each bar carries its count and its share.

Check it worked

The card says "Annotations grouped by category" under its title. Each row shows a category name, a bar, and a label such as "48 (32%)".

The share is the count of that category, out of all annotations in scope. The bar length compares the category to the largest one, not to 100%.

The Excel sheet for this module holds 4 columns: Category, Count, %, and Annotated duration. Annotated duration is the total time of the marks in that category. Marks that lie on top of each other are counted twice there. For time that counts once, use Module: Timeline Coverage.

This module has no settings of its own. Change what it counts with the scope.
