Give one module its own scope
Let one module look at a different slice of your data from the rest of the page.
Before you start
Steps
- Click the settings button in the title bar of the module. A panel opens under the title bar.
- Open the group named Scope override at the foot of the panel. You see Videos, Coders, Fragment and Speakers.
- Select the videos you want for this module alone. The chart redraws with those videos.
- Click the settings button again to close the panel. The panel folds away.
Check it worked
The title bar shows a small amber chip, such as "overriding videos". That chip tells you the module no longer follows the page.
Videos, Coders, Fragment and Speakers each say "inheriting workspace" while they follow the page. Once you change one, that word becomes a link named inherit. Click inherit to go back to the page setting.
Coders limits the module to the work of chosen coders. Fragment gives the module a fragment of its own.
Speakers appears only when the module looks at exactly one video. A speaker belongs to one video, so there is nothing to pick across several.
Inter-rater Agreement works on one video. Its line is named Video, and it never says "inheriting workspace". Once you pick a video there, the link inherit appears. Click inherit to clear your pick. See Module: Inter-rater Agreement (Kappa).
A module can also show "This module could not be computed for the current data." Change the scope for that module. Contact support if the message stays.
