Print or save as PDF

Print a short summary of your work, one page for each video, or save it as a PDF.

Before you start

• Export annotations to Excel or CSV

Steps

1. Open the videos page of your project. You see the card named "Project".
2. Click Export data. The dialog Export Data opens.
3. Click PDF Report under Format. The line under the tabs describes the file.
4. Select the videos you want. A grey line counts the marks.
5. Click Export PDF Report. Your browser opens its own print window.
6. Select "Save as PDF" as the printer. The print window shows your choice.
7. Click the print button. Your browser saves the file.

Check it worked

The print preview shows one A4 page per video. GRAPE MARS hides the rest of the screen while it prints, so only the report appears.

Each page holds 4 parts.

• A heading with the video name, the project name and today's date.
• Three boxes: the number of marks, the total marked time, and a rate per minute.
• Category Breakdown, with a coloured bar per category.
• Top Annotation Types, a table of the 10 most used annotation types.

This is the one export that draws bars on the page. It is a summary, not the charts of a workspace.

Where you save the file, and what it is named, is your browser's choice, not the choice of GRAPE MARS.

If something goes wrong

• Nothing downloads at all
• The Word report looks wrong in my word processor
