Edit the Project Status page
Keep the Project Status board up to date, so the team can read what is happening and what comes next.
Before you start
- Any admin can read this board. Only a super-admin can edit it.
- There is no save button. GRAPE MARS saves 1 second after you stop typing.
- Saving… appears at the top right while it writes.
Steps
- Click your name at the top right of any page. A menu opens.
- Click Admin Dashboard. The Project Status page opens.
- Type in the box under What's happening right now. "Last updated" below it takes the new time.
- Select a state in the small box on that panel: Active, Paused or Awaiting feedback. The badge changes colour.
- Type in the box under What's coming next. Write 1 item per line.
Add a date to a line with a dash: Team planning meeting — Wed 27 May, 1:30pm. Readers see the date in grey.
The Plan panel
Plan has 4 columns: Now, Next, Later and Done. Each column is a box you type in, 1 item per line. The count next to the column name follows what you write. A dash adds a date, as above.
The checklist
We're working on lists the jobs from team feedback. Each row shows a colour dot for how urgent it is, the job, who reported it, and a state.
- Click the circle at the left of a row to step through Pending, In Progress and Deployed.
- Select a state in the box at the right to set it in one move. Deferred is only in that box.
Rows marked Deployed move under Completed. Click that line to open or close them.
What readers see
An admin who is not a super-admin reads the same words with no boxes. The line under the title says "Updated by" and then the name of the person who last saved it.
A green panel appears next to What's coming next when a test is open. It counts who has sent answers.
Check it worked
Reload the page. Your words are still there, and "Last updated" shows the time you typed.
