Module: Timeline Coverage

Add a chart that shows how much of the video you have coded, for each category.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Click Add module. The drawer opens on the right.
  2. Click + next to Timeline Coverage. The module lands at the foot of the page.
  3. Wait for the bars to draw. Each bar shows a share and a time.

Check it worked

The card says "Merged annotated share of the video per category". A row reads like "Gesture 75% · 9:00".

GRAPE MARS merges the annotations of a category before it counts. Two marks that sit on the same seconds count once. So the shares of 2 categories can add up to more than 100%, but no single share can pass 100%.

The rows are sorted, with the widest coverage first.

Coverage and density answer different questions. Coverage says how much of the lesson you have coded. Density says where the busy moments are. See Module: Timeline Density.

The Excel sheet holds Category, Coverage %, and Annotated duration.

This module has no settings of its own.
