Rename or describe a project ​

Give your project a new name, or a new description, from the card or the settings page.

Before you start ​

  • Project: what a project holds.
  • Role: owners and editors may change these fields.

Steps ​

The card menu changes the name only.

  1. Open the Projects page. GRAPE MARS lists your projects.
  2. Click the three dots on the card. A small menu opens.
  3. Click Rename. The name turns into a text box.
  4. Type the new name. Your text shows in the box.
  5. Press Enter. The card shows the new name.

To change the description as well, use the settings page.

  1. Open the project. Its video list opens.
  2. Click Project settings in the right column. The settings page opens.
  3. Click Edit. Two boxes open.
  4. Type in Project name and in Description. Your text shows in each box.
  5. Click Save Changes. The page shows the new name and text.

Press Escape in step 4 of the first list to drop the change.

Check it worked ​

The name at the top of the page is the new one. The Projects page shows the same name on the card.
