Module: Cross-video Comparison
Add a chart with one row per track, added up across 2 or more videos, to compare them.
Before you start
Steps
- Select at least 2 videos in the scope. The bar shows how many videos are in view.
- Click Add module. The drawer opens on the right.
- Click + next to Cross-video Comparison. The module lands at the foot of the page.
- Click the settings button in its title bar. A panel opens.
- Select a value under Compare by. The bars redraw.
Check it worked
The card says which measure it uses, such as "Total occurrences per tier across 3 videos".
Compare by offers 2 measures.
- Total occurrences adds up the marks of that track in every video.
- Average coverage % takes the coverage of that track in each video, then takes the plain mean. A short video counts as much as a long one.
Each label ends with a count of videos, such as "2/3 videos". That tells you the track is missing from one video.
This module needs 2 videos or more. With one, the card says so.
The Excel sheet holds Tier, Category, Total occurrences, Total duration, Mean duration, Videos present and Avg coverage %.
Agreement is never part of this module. GRAPE MARS calculates Cohen's kappa for one video at a time.
